1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) govern the relationship between Skate Connect, represented by Morgane Renard (hereinafter "the Provider"), and any person booking a figure skating lesson through skateconnect.ch (hereinafter "the Client").

2. Services

Skate Connect offers individual and duo figure skating lessons, delivered by passionate coaches, at various partner rinks across French-speaking Switzerland.

Lessons are open to all levels, including complete beginners. No prior experience is required.

3. Equipment, Skates

Skate Connect provides ice skates from size 37 to 41. For any other size, the Client is invited to contact Morgane Renard for further information.

Skate Connect accepts no responsibility for the quality, condition or suitability of the skates used by the Client, whether personal or rented from third parties.

4. Prices and payment

Current prices are displayed on the Pricing, Services and Booking pages of skateconnect.ch. Skate Connect reserves the right to amend its prices at any time, with the new prices becoming immediately applicable to new bookings.

Payment is required at the time of booking through the secure payment provider Stripe (bank card, TWINT, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Any unpaid booking will be automatically cancelled.

The Client's banking data is never retained by Skate Connect: it is handled exclusively by Stripe, in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

5. Booking and cancellation

Bookings are made online via skateconnect.ch.

Free cancellation : any cancellation made at least 48 hours before the start of the lesson entitles the Client to a full refund.

Late cancellation : any cancellation made less than 48 hours before the lesson, or any unreported absence, gives no right to a refund.

Skate Connect reserves the right to cancel a lesson in cases of force majeure or exceptional circumstances. In such cases, the Client will be fully refunded or may reschedule the session.

6. Liability and risks

Figure skating is a physical activity that carries inherent risks of falling, injury or accident.

By booking a lesson, the Client acknowledges and accepts the following risks:

Skate Connect, Morgane Renard and affiliated coaches accept no responsibility for any injury, bodily, material or moral harm occurring during, before or after a lesson.

The Client declares that they participate in the lessons in full knowledge of the risks and of their own accord. The Client is strongly advised to:

In the event of an accident, Skate Connect will not cover any medical, hospital or transport costs. The Client alone is responsible for their own insurance coverage.

7. Minors

A minor's participation in a lesson requires the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian. When signing the online waiver, the legal guardian's full details (name, relationship, phone, email) must be provided. By registering a minor, the legal guardian accepts these T&Cs on their own behalf and on behalf of the minor, including the liability clause (Article 6).

8. Electronic signature and acceptance of terms

Before any booking, the Client is required to electronically sign the Skate Connect Liability Waiver, either through the system integrated into the site (signature drawn on screen), or by downloading the document, signing it by hand, and uploading it.

A simple electronic signature, in accordance witharticle 14 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO art. 14), has the same legal value as a handwritten signature for this type of document. The date, time and image of the signature are kept as evidence.

By booking a lesson, the Client declares that they have read, understood and unreservedly accepted these T&Cs and the Liability Waiver.

9. Intellectual property

All content on skateconnect.ch (text, images, logos, design) is the exclusive property of Skate Connect. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written authorisation.

10. Personal data

Personal data collected during registration and booking (name, email, phone) is used exclusively in connection with the provision of services. It is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the Client has the right to access, rectify and delete their data by contacting morgane@skateconnect.ch.

11. Applicable law and disputes

These T&Cs are governed by Swiss law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of Geneva shall have sole jurisdiction.
